Since 2022, the company has successfully partnered with Core Plus Design, launching “Price-Optimization-as-a-service” for all overseas merchants to streamline pricing processes and increase profit margin.
Challenge
Over the past eight years, there has been a struggle for a buyer in the overseas retail market for appliances, electronics and luxury retail categories. Small and large retail chains, marketplaces, and price aggregators appeared – and the supply grew. As a result, today’s buyer no longer faces the problem of choosing a place and a way to buy goods.
On the other hand, the significant economic turmoil due to the pandemic and subsequent full-scale war decreased purchasing power, so buyers became more willing to seek the best price.
Insight
We designed an AI pricing optimization hub integrated into the Kaola B2B merchant portal to provide market trends, analytics, price parsing and product pricing operations, which serve over 5,000 brands from 80 countries covering apparel, health care, household appliances and other categories of products.
While enhancing its dominant position in cross-border e-commerce, the B2B and price optimization services have been enhanced to serve high-quality e-commerce market segments.
